Life and times in Norfolk

Life and times in Norfolk
Life and times of a South African and his partner, 2 dogs, 9 chickens and an Afrikaans cat all happily living in a seaside cottage on the North Norfolk Coast.

Poppy 2, Pansy and Bluebell

Three new 'ladies' were collected on Saturday and are settling into their new home with minimum fuss. Apart from some chasing around the coop, it's all going smoothly.
I'm mesmerised by the 8 of them, each with their own personalities and quirks. It was so funny seeing all the ruffled feathers as the new ladies were added on Saturday morning, two of the quietest of the original five suddenly sprung to life to show their disgust and show the three 'newbies' exactly where there place in the pecking order was.
So far the transition has been injury free and long may that continue....now, if we could just get some eggs from these girls, everything would be just perfect!
